If you ever used car fax you see those crazy commercials were they always show you the bumbling car salesman who's trying to get one over this I'm innocent customer.

One thing CARFAX doesn't share is all the problems they had with an accurate reports. The other thing they forget to share their commercials is the fact that they lied to the consumer. The CARFAX report is not free from the automotive dealer. This isn't the dealership problem, this is a Carfax problem. CARFAX charges for the reports that people request. When they say in the commercial ask your dealer for a  "free" Carfax reports, what the really saying is go ask the dealer to buy it for you so we can make a profit on the dealer.

When you arrive at the dealership asking for a free carfax report, if the dealer doesn't buy it for you, it makes them look like they're trying to hide something. The real fact is that carfax is misleading consumers and using black hat marketing strategies to bully car dealers into purchasing their service .

That's right, CARFAX makes their money selling dealerships a monthly subscription service so that when consumers say show me the CARFAX the dealer can actually show them the car fax without having to pay for them 1 by 1. So the same company, CARFAX, that is telling you how bad dealers are, is also extorting dealers for money. How honest is that?

Instead of assuming that every car dealership is dishonest, perhaps you should do the research for yourself. Look at the reviews of the dealership on mine, many times there a great reviews for Fantastic dealerships out there. Have you done your research on CARFAX? Have you seen with other consumers upset about them?
